What I want right NOW!

This dress from Full Circle is what I want right now. As soon as I saw it I thought "I have to have it!" I immediately started thinking of different ways to wear it, layered over a thin turtleneck, with tights and boots perhaps? I just bought a pair of purplie, plum coloured DKNY tights that would look great with this dress. Yes it's definitely on my fall must haves list.

I'm In LOVE...

Right now I am completely obsessed with Erin Fetherston. I absolutely loved her Fall '07 collection. When asked what her inspiration for this collection was, she said:

"This season I was wanted to create a winter's lullaby. The title of the collection is "Wandering Stars." I was inspired by images of the night. Embroideries recall the constellations. Patchworks are patterned like moth wings. Black is intertwined with silver and shine. The look is ethereal, feminine, whimsical, and full of girlish charm."

I think it's very whimsical and magical and adore every piece in this collection along with her Spring '07 collection.

I've heard people saying that her pieces are to cutsie and girly but I think they could easily be toughend up with motorcycle style boots and black accessories.

On the other hand I'm not really a fan of the line she has done for Target. Unlike her runway collections, which are more magical and fairy like, the Target line is more little girlish, with all the red hearts and little jumpers. Which isn't really a look that I like.

But then again of it wasn't for the Target line, I like many people, probably wouldn't know much about her. So it did serve it's main purpose, which is of course to get her name out there and for people to become familiar with her work.

I'm seein' RED!

This weekend I've been invited to a lobster boil. I have to admit this is my first lobster boil, and I'm overly excited about it. My mother is from Newfoundland so I've eaten many a lobster in my day but never have I been to a lobster party!

So what to wear? I think I'll go with a red theme and try my best not too look like a giant red lobster. Wouldn't want anyone mistaking me for one and putting me in the pot of hot boiling water!

They say you can hear them scream as you put them in the water, I wonder if that's true? Well if it is I definitely don't want to hear it!! Maybe I should get myself a nice pair of red earplugs to block out their cries for help!
